A 1980’s vintage Nancy Drew book collection Each of these 13 covers have repurposed wood between the covers that I collect from building sites and woodworking shops,(their scraps) in my area. With hooks, 8 1/4”(H) x 5”(W) x almost 3/4” (D) These are made to order for you so takes me about 3 to 5 business days to send off. No tree’s cut down for this product. Comes with 2 Brass Hooks and 2 screws for perfect and, easy installation.
OR!!! DIY: Save 10% by installing the hooks yourself. This gives you the opportunity of adding the 2 enclosed “cup hooks” where you like, as some people prefer them directly on the front. (See Photo) instead of the bottom where I place them. (due to shipping costs!). Easy to do btw.
Although it implies in the listing that I have 2 of each book, this is not so. it’s one book only!!!!, choice of EITHER, Made to Order, OR the DIY version which posts the next day of ordering. Do not click on both versions please.
These book covers have that fabulous pulp fiction retro design I love. Rudy Nappi was the principal cover artist for the US Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew series in the 1950s through to the late 1970s. His portrayals of the three main characters were regarded as the images most recognizable. You can buy his original art at link below.
A perfect gift for new & old parents, birthday celebrations, house warming gifts and happy occasions of all kinds. Most of us grew up with Nancy Drew mysteries and here is a practical solution to hang on the wall. I use mine for bra’s and belts...
A cultural icon, Nancy Drew is cited as a formative influence by a number of women, from Supreme Court Justices Sandra Day O'Connor,Sonia Sotomayor to former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and former First Lady Laura Bush.Feminist literary critics have analyzed the character's enduring appeal, arguing variously that Nancy Drew is a mythic hero an expression of wish fulfillment, or an embodiment of contradictory ideas about femininity.” Wikipedia
