The cuttings from organic cotton textile production are “salvaged” then shred and then turned back into soft cotton fibres. The fibres added are made from locally recycled plastic bottles to obtain the cotton and polyester blend. The blended fibres are spun into fine yarn to make fabrics. Finally, the garment workers finish the production with care to create a high-quality product. THAT garment workers in India who make these Hoody’s and Tee’s should have a fair living wage is sooooo important and should be NORMAL in this day and age. Sadly, not, but every person who joins the trend against fast fashion is helping.
