This collection of Newfoundland key hangers (or how about for your masks?) is a fun gift idea especially for those away from home. It’s going to constantly be filled up with new ones as I keep my series small! Each piece is on repurposed wood I collect from local wood working shops, (their scraps) and I sand down the edges to make it looked aged. This key(or jewelry or mask) holder has a brass hook and on the back is a saw tooth hanger, easy to hang up. With hook, 6 3/4”(H) x 4”(W) x 3/4”(D)
I’m always looking for my damn keys is what started me making these. Hang this up near your door so at least that daily search is over. And now, since Covid, the search for my mask is outta control....Soooo I’ve got a separate one by the door for just those and don’t get me going about “where are my glasses?!?!?”
Why not DIY and save 15% ! install one hook and a saw tooth hanger (supplied) yourself. Easy to do, no drill needed. Here at home I take off the back hanger as I screw them right into the wall so nothing is wobbly. Just sayin.
Newfoundland Woman was started in the kitchen of 2 sisters living in Newfoundland. Early feminists I would say! The Woman on the cover, Mary Lou, does anyone know her? Unfortunately I’ve lost my note, (a niece of hers filled me in at a market) and can’t recall the rest. I would especially like to find out who these sisters were!!!! Can anyone fill me in?
